About

Carrying herself with the formality and matter-of-factness of a seasoned soldier, while possessing a robust, muscular physique left little to uncertainty as to what her occupation had been in the years before. However, her fluency in the common Eorzean dialect, the comprehensive grasp in its matters that she held, as well as the surgical ability with which she was able assess and de-escalate hostile situations while abroad were tell-tale signs of a leading role in the military.A hardened visage that rarely lended warmth away from its cold, steely gaze kept most of the unwanted attention at bay. It was her first line of defense in these strange new lands, for Garleans were hardly ever greeted with open arms, but more often with a knife in the back—just business as usual in a post-Empire world.Whether it was her more 'casual' clothes or military-grade attire, there was never a moment the Garlean wasn't equipped with carbon fiber protective wear or decked out in magitek devices for personal protection. However, what ever she did don on was unquestionably elegant, which some might even consider fashionable, with the blend of her rich perfumes and oils portraying a woman of class. But under the unapproachable mask may lie a kinder woman, for some rumors have been drifting about a side more true to herself: Acts of benevolence to those stranded on the streets, laughter and jokes within taverns, and nights of fleeting passion.

Hooks

Miranda is often seen accompanying a supply caravan heading from Garlemald to Eorzea or Ilsabard, or as part of an envoy for a political figure. She seems to be involved in the material and societal rebuilding efforts of Garlemald, and will be interacting with the the foreign security forces, adventurers, and the general population to some degree. As a veteran of the Garlean Civil War, the Liberation of Garlemald, and the Final Days, she may be recognizable by those who were present AFTER the death of Quintus van Cinna, for she arrived shortly after to the Tertium station to witness the disbanding of the Ist Legion.

To those in the Regio Urbanissima, she was known as one of the Primi Ordines of the Ist Legion — a Centurion of the First Cohort, sworn to His Majesty’s service.

During her personal time, one might discover her maintaining her skills with the gunblade on an unsuspecting training dummy. She is a weapon-freak, quite fascinated by the art of war in all its twisted beauty and brutality, though lately she has had difficulty keeping conversation about the latter side of it.
Accustomed to higher class, Miranda has many interests that revolve around such a lifestyle. Wine, food, garments, theatre, though she isn't one to always shy away from other matters lacking in exquisiteness; sometimes exquisiteness can be found in battle — or fighting.

OOC

Contrary to Miranda, I'm much less of an intimidating person! I'm very happy to chat with anyone. I'm 21+, open to all RP, and will only RP with those who are 21+ as well. My RP moods may vary, so it's probably best to approach OOC, unless I have the RP tag on, though I'm sure I can entertain some brief walk-up-RP if you're really keen on it.
